NUUK mobility has launched ePlug, a service focused on the development of auxiliary products linked to smart and sustainable electric mobility
Within his Straegy, NMS has start the PL01 project, which seeks to respond to the growing importance of electronic commerce and its involvement in distribution tasks, through the electric vehicle, giving rise to a radical transformation of our cities.
Specifically, in the PL01 project, the purchasing dynamics, the agents that provide service and the demands of the clients are analyzed in order to articulate a product that will be capable of absorbing all these parameters and achieving in a new concept of transport for highly versatile electric vehicles.
NUUK Project PL01, the new storage system
In this sense the PL01 project, framed in the new ePlug service, consists in a storage system for it use in electric motorcycles dedicated to the transport of goods and It is focusing on improving the dynamics derived from electronic commerce purchases. Its main innovation will be to achieve a variable load capacity. In addition, it is being designed to guarantee great resistance through the use of high-resistance materials and security systems that communicate safety and robustness.
Thanks to this new transport concept, the electric vehicle will be able to adapt,more appropriately, to the requirements of each moment and to the different services, optimizing the load volume for any situation. Since it will be attached to the structure located behind the seat, it can be adapted to a large number of delivery models on the market.
This system aims to allow the transport of packages of different sizes, without it being necessary to carry “air” when it is not needed, occupying all the cargo space and favoring a change its volume, quickly and safely. On the other hand, it will be possible to customize its surface both in the color of the body and in its graphics, depending on each client or service.
